I got up, had greakfast, and headed for the park for two laps. It was raining when I started out, but I didn't let that stop me! When I finished, I cleaned up and had lunch.
Afterwards, I did some house work. I cleaned the dishes that needed hand washing, did some laundry, and worked on finance stuff. I tried to move my 401k, but I found out I can't do a rollover until a month after my last day.
When I took my new long sleeve running shirt out of the wash, I was very aggravated to find it had snags all over it. I think it was my fault for washing it with clothes that had Velcro. Now my slick looking shirt looks messed up and hokey. Grrr! I'm so miffed.
When Michelle got home, we went to her Mom's house and picked up her Mom to take her out to dinner. We went to a place called Starr's Restaurant. It's a new place, attached to a wine store. I thought the food was really good. I had a spinach salad with breaded artichoke hearts, a "Philadelphia Style" steak (that is, with blue cheese and mushrooms), and a raspberry and dark chocolate pot de creme. Michelle's Mom had a Caesar salad, halibut with port wine reduction, and key lime pie. Michelle had corn and shrimp chowder, halibut with mango salsa, and a blue berry cobbler for dessert. We were stuffed. We spent quite a while there. The food was slow to come, but the service was nice and we enjoyed the leisurely evening.
We dropped Michelle's Mom off, came home, and went to bed.
