Today we slept in a bit, then went to Bread Company for our usual breakfast. Afterwards, we came home and owrked on finances for a while. Michelle also hunted for good places to stay in Kauai.

We went on a quck walk to the bank, the library, and around the Central West End. When we got back, it was time to make our way to Busch Stadimu for the ball game. We took the Metro down there, and met Michelle's Mom and Daniel there. Mom got a big hot dog, while the rest of us got nachos. We were sitting rught behind the first base foul pole. We could see well, but the sun was really beating down on us. It was hot! We watched the Cardinals play the Cubs. There wasn't a lot of action during the game. By the end of the eighth inning, the Cubs were ahead 4 to 2. Michelle, Mom, and I decided to head home and avoid the crowds. As we were getting on the Metro to ride home, we started hearing noises from within the stadium. During the ride home, reports came in on people's cell phones - The Cards saved the day and won 5 to 4.

After cooling of and relaxing a bit at home, we agreed to meet up with Michelle's Mom and Daniel at China Inn for dinner. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered that it was closed for the weekend! We called Maggiano'sm but the wait was an hour and a half. Michelle's Mom suggested an Italian place called Papa's (Frank Papa's Ristorante), and they had availabulity, so we went there. It's a little restaurant on Brentwood that I've passed many times and often wondered about. It was very good. I had penne pasta with sausage and red sauce. Michelle had caneloni. Mom had fettucine with chicken. Michelle's Mom had grilled Rainbow trout. Daniel had veal.

After dinner we headed to Ted Drew's. The crowd of people waiting in line was hugs and spilling out into the street but we managed to park and get a bench to sit on without much difficulty. Michelle and I had Magical Muni Mochas, Mom had Peach, Daniel had Oreo, and Michelle's Mom had CArdinal Sin, which was chocolate sause and tart cherries.

After a fun evening, we headed home to bed.
